Reynolds, Webb lead Diamondbacks past Nationals 4-0 (AP)
Brandon Webb threw his eighth career shutout, Mark Reynolds homered twice and the Arizona Diamondbacks snapped a five-game losing streak with a 4-0 victory over the Washington Nationals on Saturday night. Webb (10-2) scattered six singles in his second complete game of the year and 14th of his career.

MRI reveals two strained hamstrings for Eric Byrnes (AP)
Arizona manager Bob Melvin said Friday night that left fielder Eric Byrnes has two strained hamstrings. An MRI exam revealed the leg injuries. The Diamondbacks placed the slumping Byrnes on the 15-day disabled list on Monday. His return is uncertain. “It’s pretty consistent with what we thought,” Melvin said.

Giants’ Lincecum notches seventh win, beats D-backs 6-3 (AP)
Bengie Molina and Jose Castillo homered to help Tim Lincecum earn his seventh victory in the San Francisco Giants’ 6-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night. Lincecum (7-1), with a fastball that reached 98 mph on the Chase Field radar gun, allowed three runs on six hits in 7 1-3 innings.

D-backs’ Byrnes goes on 15-day DL with sore hamstrings (AP)
The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed left fielder Eric Byrnes on the 15-day disabled because of sore hamstrings.
