Arizona’s Dan Haren allowed two runs and three hits in seven innings and the Diamondbacks beat the Chicago White Sox 8-4. Haren struck out six and walked one, allowing the two runs on solo homers by Paul Konerko and Jermaine Dye. “I felt really good. I wanted to make sure I went out there six or seven times to get my innings in and my pitch count up,” Haren said.
