A rough day against Arizona ended for Milwaukee starter Jeff Suppan when he was hit by a line drive in the fourth inning of the Brewers’ 8-6 victory over the Diamondbacks on Thursday. The injury didn’t seem serious, and Suppan was smiling about it afterward. “It was a solid hit,” he said of the shot by Gerardo Parra.
