Chris Burke has found a home with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Depending on the day, that home could be at shortstop, in the outfield or even at first base, where he’s never played in the major leagues. Burke, acquired from Houston in the Jose Valverde deal last December, doubled twice and drove in three runs in Arizona’s 10-7 loss to a Seattle Mariners split-squad on Sunday afternoon.
