Randy Johnson was activated from the 15-day disabled list Thursday ahead of his start for the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Johnson was placed on the disabled list June 15, retroactive to June 11, because of muscle tightness in his buttocks. In addition, he was diagnosed with a herniated disk in his surgically repaired back.
