Arizona acquires Petit from Florida for Julio (AP)
The Arizona Diamondbacks acquired right-hander Yusmeiro Petit from the Florida Marlins for right-hander Jorge Julio and cash on Monday. The 22-year-old Petit made his big league debut last year with Florida, going 1-1 with a 9.57 ERA in 15 games. He’s been a starter throughout his minor league career.
