Arizona designates Krynzel for assignment (AP)
The Arizona Diamondbacks designated outfielder Dave Krynzel for assignment on Thursday. The 25-year-old Krynzel batted .333 with a home run and eight RBIs in 21 spring training games. Krynzel spent last season with Milwaukee’s Triple-A Nashville affiliate.
