Enrique Gonzalez knows he’s locked in a tough fight to win a job in Arizona’s starting rotation. Pitching well against an Oakland Athletics’ lineup full of starters should help his cause. Gonzalez allowed only an infield single in four scoreless innings, and Orlando Hudson homered and drove in four runs to help the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the A’s 8-5 on Friday night.
