Eric Byrnes does more than hustle. He can hit, too. Byrnes went 3-for-3 with an opposite-field home run Sunday, boosting his spring training batting average to .450 and leading the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 10-7 victory over the San Diego Padres. “One thing you know is that Eric Byrnes’ approach and the way he plays the game is going to be a constant every game,” Arizona manager Bob Melvin said.
