Throughout the offseason, major league teams called the Arizona Diamondbacks asking about a trade for pitcher Micah Owings. “We had to say no a lot,” general manager Josh Byrnes said. The New York Yankees wanted Owings as part of the deal that sent Randy Johnson back to the Diamondbacks. Again, the answer was no.
